March 13, 2014 Washington D.C. Alumni Breakfast
Dean David Wippman and Washington D.C.-area alumni ambassadors  Maisa Jean Frank ('10), Kate McKnight ('08), Chuck Bruse ('71), and Nicolas Sanchez ('06) hosted an alumni breakfast at the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill. The breakfast featured the Law School's two alumni Congressmen, Keith Ellison '90 (MN) and Ron Kind '90 (WI).

January 17, 2013 Washington, D.C. Alumni and Friends Reception

More than 25 alumni and friends attended a reception in Washington, D.C.  This reception was hosted by Adam van Alstyne ('04) of DLA Piper, with the help of  D.C.-Area Alumni Ambassadors Maisa Jean Frank ('10) and Kate McKnight ('08).  The reception was held at DLA Piper's office.  Governor James Blanchard ('68) made remarks.

Over 50 alumni and friends attended a recent reception in D.C., hosted by the Law School and D.C.-Area Alumni Ambassadors Chuck Bruse ('71), Maisa Jean Frank ('10) and Kate McKnight ('08) at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. Guests heard updates about their alma mater's strategic plan from Associate Dean Joan Howland and Professor Brett McDonnell.

Over 25 alumni gathered for breakfast at the University Club to hear Provost, and former Law School Dean, Tom Sullivan speak about the future of legal education.

Over 30 alumni attended "A View from the Bench:  Observations on the Coleman v. Franken Senate Recount Dispute" at the University Club of Washington, D.C.  The event featured a presentation by Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Paul H. Anderson, '68.  D.C. "Gopher Lawyer Breakfast" Host Committee Members include Andrew Borene, '07; J. Charles Bruse, '71; Charles E. Dickinson, '09; Joyce M. Martin, '88; Ambassador Tom McDonald, '79; and Katherine L. McKnight, '08.
